Reiki:

Reiki is an ancient human touch technique that utilizes Universal Life Force Energy to balance, renew and heal the body.

Rei means “spirit” or “soul”. Esoterically it conveys spiritual consciousness, awareness of and ability to work within the greater wisdom. Ki means “energy” and originally connoted a sense of air or atmosphere, that which pervades and surrounds. Ki is the life force in its many variations. The Japanese alphabet combined the symbols as Reiki to embody the concept of a Universal Life Force appropriate to healing. It is a spiritually guided, all-enveloping energy of the body, soul, and spirit.

Level One Reiki will empower you to clear and balance your own energies. The attunement is a simple process that a child can learn.

Level Two is a little more complicated and will allow a person to perform Reiki on others, either hands on or long distance. 

Level Three is for your own healing of the heart.
